While we are committed to providing a trade policy that is both beneficial to our customers and Bookmiser, our goal is also to provide quality books at reasonable prices.  Thus, we take great care to select books that are in the best possible condition. In addition, Bookmiser must be in need of the item(s) presented for trade.

If the above criteria are met, Bookmiser will issue store credit for the items kept.  Some trade features that distinguish us from other used book stores include:

1. Your store credit never expires.
2. You may use your credit toward the purchase of merchandise in any genre or format. Trade credit may not be used on "new" books.
3. We currently keep track of your store credit on our database.
4. Your cost for all softcover books is 50% off the original publisher's price. Hardcover prices vary, but generally are 70% off the original publisher's price.
5. For large trade transactions, we offer appointments on Tuesdays; accomodations can be made if an alternate day is needed.

**Please note these are guidelines only. The actual trade amount given may be more if the item is in great demand as we can expect to sell it quickly. Similarly, the credit given may be less if the item is not in demand or is not pristine as it will be more difficult to sell.

Bookmiser Trade Credits can be used to pay for 1/2 of any used merchandise purchase (there is a cash/check/charge portion on every sale)
